Ceremonies & Rites of Passage

Honouring Life’s Thresholds with Heart, Story, and Nature

Every life is a story made of thresholds, the moments when we step from one way of being into another. As a nature-based celebrant, I offer ceremonies that honour these turning points with depth, beauty, and authenticity. My work is rooted in the old wisdom of the land, the mythic cycles of Celtic tradition, and, most importantly, the stories of you and your family.

Each ceremony is crafted uniquely, shaped by your values, heritage, and the meaning you wish to bring to your moment of change.

Ceremonies I Offer

Rites of Passage & Sacred Communion (Age of Reason)

A ceremony to honour a child’s growing awareness of self, community, and the wider world — often celebrated between ages 8 and 10. This rite acknowledges their unique spirit and place within family, earth, and life’s unfolding journey.

Marriage Ceremonies & Handfasting

Celebrate love and partnership in a way that reflects who you truly are. Whether you wish for a modern or ancient feel, a sacred woodland gathering or a simple circle of family, I weave your story into a ceremony that feels timeless and true.

Baby Naming & Family Welcoming

Welcome a new soul into the circle of life with words, symbols, and blessings drawn from nature and your own traditions. Together, we’ll create a ceremony that celebrates new beginnings and the web of love that surrounds your family.

Family Thresholds

Families evolve through many transitions — moving homes, blending families, adoption, coming of age, renewal after hardship. These ceremonies mark and honour those changes, creating space for gratitude, healing, and connection.

End of Life & Memorials

To celebrate a life well lived, to grieve with reverence, and to offer return to the earth — I hold ceremonies that speak to both sorrow and beauty. Grounded in compassion and guided by story and nature, each service reflects the essence of the one being honoured.
